Roopa Unnikrishnan is the former Chief Strategy Officer at Vontier where she led the company’s overall strategy efforts, creating new paths for growth and unlocking opportunities to catalyze innovation and strengthen our competitive position.
Prior to joining Vontier in 2020, Roopa was Head of Strategy at HARMAN International, where she established the strategy function and developed the strategy for the Connected Car Division, the company’s largest growth driver. Roopa builds on almost two decades of experience seeding and driving change and innovation in several Fortune 500 companies, including leadership roles in strategic planning at BlackRock, Pfizer, and Citibank. She began her career as a consultant at Katzenbach Partners LLC (KPL).

A Rhodes Scholar, Roopa holds an MBA and an MPhil in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford. She also received an MA in History from Ethiraj College and a BA in History from Women’s Christian College, both in Chennai, India. She is a published poet and the author of The Career Catapult, which helps professionals think differently about their lives and careers. She is also an award-winning, world-class athlete in riflery.
