Paul Donnellan

Paul Donnellan is a Partner at Clareo. He works with leaders to identify, evaluate and scale new growth opportunities with breakthrough technologies and new business models, and to assess and build a culture of innovation across an enterprise. Paul has advised senior executives on growth and innovation initiatives at companies such as Exelon, Dominion Energy, Edison International, Johnson Controls, Discover, ABInBev, BMW and others.

Prior to his work with Clareo, Paul led sales and marketing for a startup technology division of Navistar, a truck and engine manufacturer. In that role, he helped launch an OEM telematics service and led the division’s national direct and indirect sales force.

Paul’s prior experience as a management consultant includes work at IBM Business Consulting Services, where he advised companies on business strategy, sales and marketing.
His recent publications include The Future of Energy: Cleaner, Distributed and Customer-Centric (IEEE Engineering Management Review, December 2019), and The Future of Mobility—Electric, Autonomous, and Shared Vehicles (IEEE Engineering Management Review, December 2018). Paul has an MBA from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Strategy and Marketing. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University.
