Guy M. Kezirian, MD, MBA, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and is owner and president of SurgiVision® Consultants, Inc., an ophthalmic consulting firm focused on new technology development.

Kezirian has overseen many FDA approvals for LASIK for excimer laser platforms, including the Summit, Visx and WaveLight lasers. He founded the Refractive Surgery Alliance Society, a physician-funded organization with the mission to bring the benefits of refractive surgery to more people through collaboration. SurgiVision® DataLink software products that are used to provide surgical planning and nomogram development for refractive surgery, and have been used for monitoring clinical outcomes for new product releases including the AcuFocus KAMRA, Bausch + Lomb Crystalens, and several excimer lasers.

He is the Program Chairman of the PHYSICIAN CEO™ program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, which provides business training to physicians with a CEO and entrepreneurial focus. Kezirian was a founding investor in Strathspey Crown, LLC and Orange County private equity firm with more than a billion dollars of assets under management, including the ALPHAEON corporation. He is an active member of the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN), a global organization of innovators.
Kezirian served on the board for the Dulaney Foundation from 2001 through 2010. He has been previously active in Rotary International and the Boy Scouts of America. He is the author of Grades Equal Money, a book to help high school students and college freshmen improve their academic performance. He is a frequent speaker at national and international ophthalmic conferences, has published more than 20 peer-review articles in the ophthalmic literature and many more in the trade literature. He was the recipient of the 2015 Kritzinger Award from the South African Society of Refractive Surgery, and previously received the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS) Founder’s Award, ISRS President’s Award, and the David D. Dulaney Award.

He earned his BSc at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, attended medical school at Brown University, interned at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston and did his ophthalmic residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. He did a fellowship in oculoplastics is board-certified in both Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Kezirian earned his Executive MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2013. Kezirian practiced in ophthalmology and refractive surgery until 1994 when he started SurgiVision® Consultants, Inc. and turned his focus to innovation and technology development.
