Kunal Sood is an internationally renowned impact entrepreneur, family business executive, and award-winning disruptive innovator. Currently at Sudtrac Linkages, he serves as the CEO to take the family-owned company to the next level, while pursuing his passion for leveraging exponential technologies to transform our world for a better future at X Impact Ventures. From serving in the trenches of the slums in Mumbai with Harvard to building global movements at the United Nations General Assembly with world leaders, global citizens, and iconic artists, Sood is on a mission to make the impossible possible as the Founder of We The Planet, NOVUS and X Fellows. Forbes spotlighted him as a global movement builder given his extraordinary work as the founding curator for TEDx at the United Nations as well as launching a series of highly successful global campaigns in collaboration with the United Nations, SAP, Google, X Prize, Clubhouse and the Chopra Foundation, such as #OperationHOPE #SDGInnovation, #SDGMoonshots, #FirstWoman #WeHaveADream, #United4India and #NeverAlone.
His work for disruptive innovation and impact has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Tribeca Film Festival, Economic Times, The Week, The Hindu, Times of India and Fortune Magazine. He is a TED Resident, Tribeca Disruptor Fellow, Innovation Fellow at Columbia University and an Executive Fellow at the Indian School of Business. As a high impact philanthropist Sood serves as a Global Ambassador for the Non-Violence Project, Singularity University and OpenEXO. He is on the Advisory Board of the Conrad Foundation, Space For Humanity and Lottery.com. Sood has a lifelong love for learning having earned several master’s degrees that include an M.B.A., from Kellogg at Northwestern University and M.A.P.P./M.Phil., from University of Pennsylvania where he studied the science of Positive Psychology and Organizational Leadership. He started his career in the fashion and wellness industry in New York City 20 years ago after graduating from Parsons School of Design before dedicating his life’s purpose towards positively impacting a billion lives in his lifetime.
